Purpose In response to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision and the Health Sector Transformation Program, which focuses on enabling the health sector to provide high quality and efficient healthcare services, Palladium was assigned by the Saudi Health Council to develop the first edition of Saudi defined Diagnosis Related Groups (KSA-DRG). The KSA-DRG Acute Care reimbursement system is the foundation for financiers of health care to directly incentivise hospitals who are in alignment with the objective of value-based, patient-centered care.
