Here in Australia, we’re proud to connect employers in rural and regional areas with workers from nine Pacific Islands and Timor-Leste through the PALM scheme. These labour mobility opportunities not only promote economic growth, but help build a stronger and more united Pacific neighbourhood. The Australian Government committed to reaching 35,000 workers by June 2023, and our team surpassed that total in January 2023, six months early.”
